Penang 3, Selangor 1 - Well, yeah, that is the score for the number of incidents of heavy vehicles stuck under flyovers in the last few days.

The first 3 incidents occurred at the same underpass at Jalan Chain Ferry, Butterworth. In the first incident on Saturday, 28 October at 7am, a school bus driven by a 50-year old driver took the shortcut underpass which has a 2.6m height limit. The bus was stuck under the flyover and was damaged, causing minor injuries to his co-driver. The school bus was supposed on the way to pick up passengers to Karak on a special permit for extra trips in conjunction with the Deeparaya holidays.
In the 2nd incident on Monday, 30 October at 1.30am, an SE Super Express coach with 20 passengers got stuck under the same underpass, causing 4 passengers and the driver to sustain minor injuries. Barely 9 hours later, a van got stuck at the same spot.

At 3.30pm yesterday, a cement mixer got stuck under a flyover at Jalan Besar, Klang. The driver was unhurt.
