In recent years, several people had made sexist remarks suggesting that women who wore sexy clothing are responsible for any indecent act against them. While many people have bombarded against these people for making such remarks, it did not stop the Penang Municipal Council president, Datuk Abu Bakar Hassan from making such a remark.
Last week, reporters covering a council meeting discovered a CCTV focusing on a woman reporter’s thigh. When the incident is brought to the knowledge of Abu Bakar, he blamed the incident on the reporter’s sexy dress.
Well, it is unfair to blame women for such incidents. The blame should very well directed to those crazy idiots who cannot control and behave themselves. Perhaps our government should come up with their official stand over such issues.

Various headlines filled the media in the recent days. The nation is shocked about the brutal murder of a Mongolian model, Anna, 28 who was shot dead execution-style and her body detonated with bombs into bits of flesh and bones.
What is more shocking is the murder is linked to a political analyst who hosted and appeared in many TV programs, Abdul Razak Baginda. He is now remanded to assist in investigations to the murder.
And today, our former premier Tun Dr. Mahathir suffered a mild heart attack and is now hospitalized at the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur. He is reported to be stable.

Well, this topic is very much political in nature. Power crazy people exist everywhere in the world. They appear in many establishments. At the highest level, these crazy people are hungry for power at the national politics. Thousands of years ago, nations involved in war, conquering one another. It still happen in various places today, such as the Middle East. With democracy being practiced in many parts of the world, people fight for power by means of elections to seats in the legislative house, the post of president, etc.
At the next level, the same people above are involved in fighting for posts within their respective political parties. Each time a party election is called to elect office bearers to various levels - national, state, division and branch - members aspiring will lobby for nominations and then on to the elections. While many of them get involved to serve the people, there are also many others who are involved because they have the lust for power.
Forget about the national and party politics for now, politics also appear in non-profit and sports organizations. People do fight for posts in such organizations and as usual while some have a noble cause to serve, many others are power crazy.
Well, perhaps the worst politics that affect the majority of people directly is the office politics. Generally, I’m referring to people who play the game of climbing corporate ladder at the expense of others. While it is healthy to see people portraying themselves as potential leaders in their work place, some play it dirty at the expense of other colleagues, causing a bad working environment among many people. As a result, productivity drops and many workers who are not interested to be involved in such politics become victims of these beings.
