Pesta Ang Pau 2007 (红包大会串), RTM’s annual Chinese New Year musical programme was shown on RTM2 at 3.30pm on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year yesterday. In the previous years, the programme was known as Fiesta Gong Xi Fa Cai (新春年华). Hosted by local artistes Kelvin Lau and Winnie Kok, the programme featured various other local celebrities, namely Glen Yu, Vicky Tan, Banumitha, Shining Girls, Eric and Vick.

The programme kicked off with a lion dance performance, followed by a Chinese New Year medley. During the programme, all the artistes sang various interesting songs, including 2 Chinese New Year songs by Shining Girls and another 2 Chinese New Year songs by Kelvin Lau.

In conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year, an Asian Love Song medley was rendered featuring Malay, Indian, Thai, Japanese and Borneo theme which ended with the song ‘Yong Ma Lai Xi Ya De Tian Qi Lai Shuo Ai Ni (用马来西亚的天气来说爱你)’. The programme ended with another Chinese New Year medley.
