24 days left to Chinese New Year. Works are currently in progress at Oval, 1 Utama New Wing for the Chinese New Year event where a floral-concept set-up is being constructed to be ready by this Friday. Elsewhere, lanterns, ornaments and other decorative items are put on sale.

Disney is involve again in sponsoring events at AEON shopping centers for Chinese New Year, the previous one was last Christmas. Buntings and banners across AEON shopping centers depict pictures of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck performing lion dances, and stated “Year of the Mouse” rather than “Year of the Rat”, in reference to Mickey Mouse.
