And after a hot and dry spell recently, it started to rain again this week and it seems it rains anytime of the day, morning, evening, night. And there are sayings that this year’s Chinese New Year will be another wet new year just like last year.

Well, we can only know it soon. There was once, in 1997, where it rained early in the morning on the first day Chinese New Year. And yes, Chinese New Year fell on 7 February in 1997. Will it be a coincidence that it will rain in the morning of first day Chinese New Year 2008, which also falls on 7 February?

And I just made my trip back to Teluk Intan early this morning, started my journey at 6.10am and reached at 8.10am, exactly 2 hours! For the first time, it rained around Kota Damansara and Bidor on my way back! Traffic was smooth anyway, but it looks like construction works between Rawang and Slim River are still going on! Thought they are suppose to suspend construction and open up the third lane during this Chinese New Year balik kampung exodus?
