Perak MB sworn in, summonses waived

Pasir Panjang state assemblyman of Perak, Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin was sworn in as the new Perak Menteri Besar at Istana Iskandariah before the Regent of Perak, Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah. He leads the people’s government, a coalition of DAP, PKR and PAS.

Immediately after the swearing in ceremony, he announced the waiver of all compound notices and parking summonses issued by all city, municipal and district councils in Perak up till Monday, a move similar to that done in Penang by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.

Selangor folks may get 20 cubic metre’s water free monthly

Selangor Menteri Besar, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim will propose in the coming state Exco meeting upon the swearing in of the Exco members that every household will get 20 cubic metre’s of water supply free monthly. It is expected to be implemented starting next month.
