Missing signboards to Teluk Intan at Bidor

I frequently travel between Petaling Jaya and my hometown Teluk Intan. And I always use the North-South Expressway, exiting at Bidor, and use the Federal Route 58 to Teluk Intan. Being a frequent traveller, there is no problem for me to identify the road, junctions, etc. However, infrequent and first time travellers to Teluk Intan may find themselves travelling to the wrong direction due to missing signboards showing direction to Teluk Intan at Bidor.

There is no problem with the signboards erected by PLUS along the North-South Expressway. At 2km, 1km and 500m as well as the overhead signboard just before the Bidor exit, the signboards clearly indicating that the Bidor exit may be used to head towards Bidor (Route 1) and Teluk Intan (Route 58).

Immediately after the toll plaza, there is a signboard indicating that a left turn heads to Kampung Poh, while a right turn heads to Bidor and Teluk Intan. Turning right into Route A132 (Jalan Bruseh, Bidor) and this road leads to the traffic lights junction with Federal Route 1. The signboard at the junction indicates a left turn to Kuala Lumpur via Route 1, and a right turn to Ipoh (Route 1) and Pulau Pangkor (Route 58). Now, here’s one missing signboard to Teluk Intan.

Turning right, and this will then lead to another traffic lights junction with Route 58. There used to be a signboard indicating that a left turn leads to Teluk Intan (Route 58) while going straight leads to Tapah (Route 1). However, since the last 1 or 2 years, the signboard has been replaced with a signboard to Pulau Pangkor (Route 58).

Well, first time and infrequent travelers to Teluk Intan might as well find themselves driving all the way to Tapah only to head to Teluk Intan via Route A10 from Tapah. Will the Public Works Department (JKR) ensure directions to Teluk Intan are put in place at Route 1/Route A132 and the Route 1/Route 58 junctions?

Now, another missing signboard is the signboard to the North-South Expressway. Coming from Teluk Intan to Bidor via Route 58, upon reaching the junction with Route 1, the signboard only shows a left turn to Ipoh (Route 1) and a right turn to Kuala Lumpur (Route 1). There used to be a sign directing a right turn to enter the North-South Expressway to Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur. Will the JKR please put this signboard back where it used to be?
