It is now learnt that the concrete barricade erected by Grand Saga at the access road to Bandar Mahkota Cheras yesterday, is removed late last night by angry residents, according to a report by Malaysiakini. Residents also planned to obtain a court injunction against Grand Saga and demand compensation from the concessionaire.

State Exco, Ronnie Liu has stated that the land belongs to the government and the highway concessionaire has no authority to construct any barrier on the piece of land. It was earlier learnt that even if Grand Saga wishes to build the barricade on its side of the land, it would need approval from the Kajang Municipal Council and Malaysian Highway Authority.
