Just now while I was dining at Original Kayu Nasi Kandar Restaurant at SS2, Petaling Jaya, I saw a man stood up to leave the restaurant. He looked so familiar to me, so I paused a while, looking at him. He smiled at me before leaving the restaurant, and guess who? Well, he is Loh Gwo-Burne, the MP for Kelana Jaya, who became famous for being the Lingam video maker.

At about 8.10am today, I casted my vote at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sultan Abdul Aziz, Jalan Padang Tembak, Teluk Intan for the P76 TELOK INTAN parliamentary constituency and N55 PASIR BEDAMAR state constituency for Perak.

If during Christmas, we had daily appearance of Santa Claus in 1 Utama, for Chinese New Year, it is the daily appearance of the God of Prosperity (财神爷) at 7.30pm. The daily appearance is from 18 January to 10 February with the God of Prosperity delivering ang pows containing cash vouchers and sweets to shoppers.

Last night, I got an ang pow and managed to have a photo taken with the God of Prosperity.

Well, anyway, it’s 8 days left to Chinese New Year.
